Werewolves were vampires’ worst enemy.  The Scheng general snarled at me and spittle dripped down his soaked muzzle. I circled him slowly, noting the corpses at my feet so I wouldn’t trip, as he watched my every move with eyes glowing blue. The wisps of moonlight dancing around his body were like unpredictable flames, though they didn’t burn. He would be formidable.

First to Final Draft: Chapters 1-2 of Vampire Captives

Look! A digital painting! This time I did a study of Din, because let's face it, The Mandalorian is awesome. In this post, I talked about how drawing became a source of pain for me. I have this driving need to improve, to be perfect when perfect doesn't exist. When you […]

The Mandalorian – Drawing

I've been busy, busy, busy as usual. I've said before that I'm slowly moving my books out of Kindle Unlimited, but that new series would start in Kindle Unlimited. I had some problems with that. I mean, I'm still DOING that, but what about people who get their books from […]

Patreon and moving books out of Kindle Unlimited.

Guess what. Her True Wolf is up for preorder on Amazon. Okay, you might already know that, but if not, I’m saying it again, because there are only ten days until release. Her True Wolf was originally free to newsletter subscribers. Her True Wolf and Her Brave Wolf side by […]

Ten Days Until Her True Wolf

You know that feeling when you’re so focused on something that everything else can go take a hike? You forget to eat. Maybe you stay up way later than normal. That’s what happens when I hit my flow state. I wish I could say I flow on command, but I […]

Week 15 – The Creative Flow State

Hey! I wanted to talk a little bit about branding. It’s this elusive thing I’ve been trying to understand for what feels like forever now. Artists develop a style for you to know them by. Authors write in a specific genre and have a specific tone to their stories. Musicians […]

I finished the first draft of Queen of Werewolves last week. So, this week was supposed to be dedicated to editing, right? Well, it was and it wasn’t. Queen of Werewolves […]

Week 13 – Edits, Book Covers, and Shifting Priorities

Current projects Queen of Werewolves – The Lost Princess of Howling Sky Book 3 Once Soulmates – These Immortal Vows Book 3 Another week down. And I did it. I finished the first draft of Queen of Werewolves. This first draft is 96,223 words. I tend to write my first drafts light, so the final word count is going to be interesting. […]

Week 12 – Finishing the First Draft

Current projects Queen of Werewolves – The Lost Princess of Howling Sky Book 3 Once Soulmates – These Immortal Vows Book 3 I always want things to be perfect even though perfect doesn’t exist. It’s kind of a good and bad thing. It’s good because I’m constantly improving. It’s bad because sometimes I get stuck instead. If you’re a perfectionist, I think […]

Week 11 – The Struggles of Writing and Being a ...

Current projects Queen of Werewolves – The Lost Princess of Howling Sky Book 3 Once Soulmates – These Immortal Vows Book 3 I thought last week was unproductive. That’s a laugh. All right, to be fair, I did get quite a lot done this week. It was just outside of the two projects I have listed above. A couple weeks ago, […]
