Week 4 – Finishing Up

Current projects

Valentine’s Day Tigers – The Holiday Shifter Mates Book 3

It’s done! Valentine’s Day Tigers is released. I made the cover, the eBook, did one last quality check, and BAM!

I’m glad I got this book done in time for Valentine’s Day. I was busting my ass to do it, but I did it, and it’s almost time to play Kingdom Hearts III.

I hope y’all love Valentine’s Day Tigers as much as I do. This slot will go to Queen of Werewolves for my next weekly update. I’m itching to get back to The Lost Princess of Howling Sky. It’s gonna be epic and heartbreaking and heartwarming and ahhhhh. I’m not ready. Except I also am. I have a lot more planned for Prime, so don’t think that world ends with The Lost Princess of Howling Sky. It doesn’t. At all.

Once Soulmates – These Immortal Vows Book 3

I got 1,241 words out for the first draft. Can I just say that characters go through extraordinary changes in a series this size? Because they do. It makes sense. These characters have been through thousands and thousands of words now. I like a good standalone, but there’s something to a series that follows the same main characters. You get really attached to them.

That being said, there always has to be an endpoint! If something goes on for too long, it seems to start repeating, doesn’t it? I’ve felt that way about really long series before, but maybe you feel differently. Either way, these characters still have a long way to go. And things are getting crazy. Not everyone will survive.

About Gender Identity – YA book

I’m still working on characters profiles. Got 1,287 words down on that this week. I’m pretty sure I’ll be doing character work for a while longer. In this kind of story, characters are the most important element. (I could argue that characters are always the most important element, but you know.) I need to make sure I know these kids before I get to work on this story.

Blind to Love – audiobook

Audiobook production is still on hold. I need to catch my breath after that mad dash to get Valentine’s Day Tigers finished.

BUT, I do have news. Blind to Love is currently on sale for only 99c. The price goes up to $6.99 February 2. You might want to grab that. 😉

You can read the first chapter here if you aren’t sold.

Conclusion

The crazy time is over. Now I’m going to take things at a more moderate pace. I plan on getting books out quite quickly still, but it might be a bit slower. I’m going to do my best to get a handle on my anxiety. It’ll be better all around if I can. Wish me luck. If you’re struggling with anything, know that you aren’t alone. I’m rooting for you.
