Kestra Pingree is looking for long-term beta readers interested in fantasy (including fantasy with sci-fi elements) and urban fantasy. Going forward, these are the genres Kestra wants to focus on. That being said, Kestra still plans to write some paranormal romance that will be mildly spicy instead of spicy. The books Kestra wants beta readers for will be for a general adult audience rather than a mature adult audience.
Kestra needs beta readers who can use Google Docs and its comments function to leave valuable feedback including but not limited to pointing out things you liked, things you didn’t like, confusing sentences, inconsistencies, typos etc.
In the future, Kestra plans to have 1-3 scenes for beta readers every week and will need those scenes read and commented on by the Friday of the following week, so the pace should be easy. At this moment, Kestra is one scene away from finishing The Soul Seer Saga and needs readers able to read and comment on 5 chapters a week.
All beta readers will have their names in the acknowledgements of every book they help Kestra polish. As an extra big thank-you, beta readers will also receive a 50% discount code for these books on Kestra’s shop once they are published.
