Editing old writing is a pain.
I wrote The Wandering Empath ten years ago. It’s not available on retailers right now because I finally finished the series after an I-don’t-know-how-long break and therefore want to update everything.
Luckily, the bones are good. I’m happy with those. It’s the line level stuff that’s bugging me. And that can actually be a bigger deal than you think because it’s literally how events, information, the story, is presented to you, the reader.
I just started these edits, and I’m not thrilled with how long they’re taking me…
Sigh.
I can’t be too upset, though. I am making improvements, and I want you to have the best experience. I mean, the best experience I can provide.
I WANT TO DO MY BEST.
